The Chroniton Beam is temporal-directed energy weapon that consists of a powerful Particle Beam intermingled with Chroniton Particles.
The Chroniton Particles of the Chroniton beam cause the beam to be in a state of temporal flux which allows the beam to by-pass any non-temporal shielding, allowing it to avoid most defensive shields and impact the ship directly.
The Chronitons also have the added side-effect of breaking down the armor of enemy vessels by exposing them to various states of temporal flux.
